Two years after his fateful plane crash, Brian Robeson talks about his experiences after the events. He is confronted by a man named Derek Holtzer, a government psychologist, who wants to relive the experience with Brian. He wants to teach others how to survive in the wild. Brian carefully thinks this over and later accepts. His mom worries, like any other mother would, but soon realizes he will be okay. Brian rides anxiously in another plane to a similar spot where he first landed. He refuses to go on with survival equipment so everything but the radio and a few other items are left.
